Farmer Phineas is seeing light of day

Sometimes the gap between filming and seeing the results feel like forever. With the pandemic, it is even longer. I got sent the rushes of a scene I did a while back with me as Farmer Phineas. It was great fun to do and I got to work with some talented youngsters. But then again I regard every one as youngsters these days!

What a grumpy old bugger he was, although it looks as though they’ve decided to go with the takes where I say “backside” instead of “arse”. Personally I think arse sounds better and funnier in a Somerset accent. What a wild beard I had. I hadn’t long started growing it at this point. Wonder if I’ll grow it again?
